Space Intruders #2 was an art exhibition held by an organization called YIFI (Young Indonesian Female Initiatives). The theme of the exhibition is about the space and the dialogue between people in public space, as the sound of dialogue shaping the space itself.

 

I responded to the theme by making a personal space with the medium of sound dome. It was made by constructing an umbrella and added sound installation. each umbrella contains different sound. Each person who walks in under the dome can hear the sound contrast to the environment around them. It’s an intervention, an intimate space in a public space.
